A study is one run and the map it produced. Once it's done it never changes — so you always know what a map you're looking at was computed with.
Run a site
With a site open, click "Run coverage study". If you haven't placed it yet, the form stops you: "Set the site position first — click the map or type coordinates."
Run a tower
In the "Tower" editor, click "Run tower coverage · {n} sectors".
A tower gives you one study per band. A three-band tower produces three studies, each with its own row in the "Studies" rail and its own map, each showing that band alone. To see the tower as a single surface, composite them — see Compare and Composite Studies.
Track it
Each study in the "Studies" rail shows a status dot and live progress. While it's still queued or running you can "Cancel study"; any study can be removed with "Delete study".
Re-run it with changes
Select a completed study and its settings open on the right, locked, with a note explaining why: "These are the exact parameters this map was computed with. Editing never changes this study — it launches a new one."
- 1
Click "Edit as new study". The settings unlock as a copy, and you name the new run.
- 2
Change what you want to test — power, downtilt, height, anything the original recorded.
- 3
Click "Run new study". You now have both, and you can see which one came from which.
