Write Data and Outputs

Finish a flow with the Write Data stage, pick your output format, and find the file afterwards.

  • A flow that produces rows you want to keep

Flows end at a writer. Open the "Writers / Outputs" category to add one.

Write Data

"Write Data" delivers your results. It asks for one thing — an "Output file name" — and the extension you type decides the format: "The extension picks the format: .csv, .geojson, .gpkg, .parquet, .tif".

The name is required. Leave it blank and the run stops with "Output file name is required — the format is chosen from its extension."

Inspector

"Inspector" doesn't deliver anything — it's a place to look. "Attach this anywhere in the flow to inspect the rows produced up to that point." Drop one mid-flow when you want a checkpoint you can come back to in the data dock after each run.

Where your output lands

Write a .csv and it arrives in Files as a managed asset, ready to share or feed into another flow. Other formats are stored with the run that produced them.

Either way, select the "Write Data" stage after a run and read its "In" data in the dock to confirm what was delivered.
