Before you begin
  • A completed coverage study

Your studies are your workbench — private runs you iterate on. A fabric is what everyone else sees. Publishing a study into one makes it the coverage of record: on the map, through the API, and in the assistant.

Create a fabric

Open the "Server" tab in the "Sites" section, type a name into "New fabric name", and click "Create". Use a "Non-production" fabric to stage coverage before it belongs in "Production".

Publish a study into it

  1. 1

Every study in the rail carries a chip reading "Draft" or "Live". Click the chip on the study you want to publish.

  2. 2

Pick a fabric from the "Publish to…" list.

  3. 3

Read the confirmation before you commit — it tells you whether you're replacing coverage that's already there, and that the previous version is kept so you can undo it.

  4. 4

Click "Publish". The study's chip flips to "Live".

Publishing swaps one tower's band at a time, so a five-band tower's bands can each be published on their own schedule.

Roll back

Expand "History" to see everything that's been published, with the current one badged "live". Any earlier entry offers "Restore this state" — and the restore is itself recorded, so you can never paint yourself into a corner.

See a change before you publish it

With a fabric on the map, tick exactly one of your own completed studies. A "Published" / "With my change" switch appears — flip between the fabric as it stands and as it would be if you published. Nobody else sees anything until you do.
