Pick a version

As a dataset changes, its versions stack up together in the list rather than scattering. Where there's more than one, a version pill appears — open it and choose.

Each version tells you where it's in use: "Published", "In project", or both. Go by those labels rather than guessing from names.

Share a dataset

From a row's "Dataset options" menu, choose "Share dataset" to make it available to others in your organization. It then shows up under their "Shared" tab. Sharing is available on paid plans — see Collaboration and Sharing.

Put it on the map

  • "Add to Project" brings the dataset into the open project.
  • "Open in Maps" takes you straight to it as a layer.

Export a copy

Open the "Export" menu on a dataset and pick your format — CSV, GeoJSON, a zipped Shapefile, or KML.

What you get is a copy. Editing it doesn't change the dataset.

Delete safely

"Delete dataset" checks what depends on the dataset before it does anything, then asks you the question that matches.

Read the dialog title before confirming. "Delete dataset and API products?" means exactly that — there are APIs built on this data, and "Delete all" takes them down too. A plain "Delete dataset?" means nothing else depends on it.
