Before you begin
  • A Tamaat account

Your plan sets what the workspace can hold and serve. Manage it in Settings under Organization → Plan & billing.

Individual, Professional and Delivery go straight to checkout. Free needs no card; Enterprise asks a few questions first.

The Professional trial

Free includes a 14-day Professional trial. It starts when you sign up, needs no card, and gives your organization everything in Professional for those 14 days.

  • While it runs, the top bar shows how many days are left, and Plan & billing shows the trial beside your own plan, which stays Free underneath.
  • Before it ends, the organization's Admins get an email seven days out and again the day before, in the language each of them uses.
  • When it ends, you are on Free. Nothing is deleted: maps, data and files stay where they are, and the parts Free does not include pause until you choose a plan.

Each organization has one trial. If yours was created before the trial started automatically, an Admin can start it from Plan & billing with "Start trial". People who join only to view what someone shared with them have no trial running; theirs starts if they choose to make their own maps.

Billing

Tamaat bills through Paddle, so Tamaat never holds your card details. Everything else happens in Plan & billing: your plan, your seats, your invoices and your payment method.

A completed checkout activates on its own within moments. There is nothing to paste in or refresh.

Changing your plan

Choose the plan, the seats and monthly or annual billing, then review the change. The review shows what you pay today, the credit for the time you have not used, and your next renewal date, exactly as Paddle will charge it. Nothing changes until you confirm.

ChangeWhen it takes effectWhat you pay
A higher planNow. A new term starts today. The new plan for one term, less credit for the unused part of your current term
Monthly to annualNow. A new annual term starts today. The annual price, less credit for the unused month
More seatsNow. Your renewal date does not move. The seats for the rest of your term
A lower plan or fewer seatsAt the end of the term you have paid forNothing now
Annual to monthlyAt the end of the year you have paid forNothing now

A change set for the end of your term is shown on the page until that date, and "Keep current plan" withdraws it.

Before you confirm a lower plan, the review tells you what it means for your work: how much you store against the lower plan's storage, and which published items stop being served. Nothing is deleted. What the lower plan does not include pauses, and everything you store stays readable and exportable. If you store more than the plan includes, new data waits until you free space or change plan. To free space, delete layers and files you no longer need in Data Store; deleting a layer first shows the maps, APIs and flows that use it. What is in the trash still counts until you delete it permanently.

Inviting someone when every seat is taken offers the seat right there, with its price, so you do not lose the invitation you were writing.

Renewal

Plans renew automatically at the price shown. "Cancel workspace subscription" on the same page turns auto-renew off: you keep your plan until the end of the term you have paid for, and "Turn auto-renew on" brings renewal back any time before then. Annual plans send a reminder before they renew, with the amount, the date and how to stop it.

With auto-renew off, the last seven days of your term are counted down at the top of the app and in Plan & billing ("Subscription expires in 3 days"), and Admins are emailed a week before and the day before. "Renew now" takes you to Plan & billing; turning auto-renew on there keeps your plan, and you are charged on the renewal date, not at once.

Refunds

One rule: a charge can be reversed within 14 days if what it bought was not used. You do it yourself in Plan & billing, where the option appears while it applies:

  • "Undo this purchase" reverses seats or a higher plan you just bought. What it charged goes back to your payment method, and your plan, seats and renewal date return to what they were.
  • "Cancel and get a refund" refunds the payment for your current term in full and ends the subscription now. Your organization becomes read-only and the 30-day window below applies.

"Not used" means that since the charge nobody in your organization has run a job or added data, and, for seats, that the new seats are not assigned to anyone. After 14 days, or once the plan has been used, there is no refund: cancelling stops the renewal and you keep access until the end of the term you paid for.

Invoices and payment

Plan & billing lists every invoice with its amount, date and status, and a PDF for each. Your company name, address and tax number are edited there and are printed on your invoices. "Update payment method" opens Paddle's own page for the card.

If a payment fails

Your plan keeps working while Paddle retries. Plan & billing says the payment did not go through, with "Update payment method", and Admins are told by email. Until the payment goes through you cannot move to a higher plan or add seats; a lower plan, turning auto-renew off and exports stay available. If the payment is never made, the plan lapses as described below.

Watch your usage

The Usage this period meters show where you stand against your limits — storage, files, API calls, compute, web maps, and map loads among them.

Glance at these before a large import or a web-map launch. Your limits also show up as the Quota bar in the Server console.

Two of them are worth knowing in detail:

  • Storage counts your files, your layers, and the edits and saved data your maps keep. The meter shows the three separately. Edits and new result layers appear in the figure within about an hour.
  • Flow runs count once however they start: by a person, by a schedule, or through a published API. A run started through a published API also counts as one API request, because it used both.

If you cancel

Choose "Cancel workspace subscription" in Plan & billing. It turns auto-renew off; nothing is charged again. The page tells you exactly what follows:

"You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for... Your data is kept for 30 days — you can export it or resubscribe at any point in that window — and is permanently deleted afterwards."

"Turn auto-renew on" undoes it at any time before the term ends, and nothing changes. "Export my data" is available throughout the 30-day window. Use it before the window closes — after that, deletion is permanent.

If your plan lapses

The workspace goes into Restricted Mode with a card explaining which situation you're in. Resubscribing restores everything, and the 30-day window above applies while you decide.
