Inspect a Dataset in Data Store

Open a managed dataset, inspect its rows, and confirm that the data is ready for downstream work.

  • Dataset available in the workspace

Goal

Confirm that the dataset contains the records and fields you expect before you build on top of it.

Steps

  1. Open Data Store.
  2. Select the dataset you want to inspect.
  3. Review the visible rows and fields.
  4. Search, sort, or page when you need more confidence in the contents.
  5. Move back to Map Builder or ETL Builder once the dataset looks correct.

Expected result

You know whether the dataset is ready for mapping, transformation, or API publishing.
