Before you start
  • Read What Tamaat Is

Tamaat is organized around a small set of major capability areas. Each one can be used on its own, but the platform is strongest when teams use them together.

Enterprise GIS

Tamaat supports the full working lifecycle of vector GIS data in the browser:

  • point, line, and polygon workflows
  • map project creation
  • layer organization and visibility management
  • editing and collaborative editing
  • version-aware workflows
  • web map publishing

Tamaat also supports loading and visualizing raster data.

ETL and data flows

ETL Builder gives users a cloud-native environment for:

  • reading from datasets and uploaded files
  • transforming data through visual stages
  • previewing changes as they build
  • running flows on demand
  • scheduling flows without staying signed in
  • reviewing runs, logs, and monitoring

Publishing ETL flows directly as APIs is an upcoming direction, not a current live capability.

No-code API delivery

API Builder lets users create and operate dataset-backed APIs inside the platform, including:

  • autocomplete APIs
  • geocoding APIs
  • data APIs
  • access keys and restriction controls
  • logs, monitoring, and traffic visibility

Project-aware GIS AI

The Tamaat AI Assistant is a domain-specific, project-aware GIS assistant. It helps users ask plain-English questions about the active project and can translate that intent into GIS-oriented actions and answers.

It is not a general-purpose assistant for unrelated topics.

Coverage analysis

Network Studio provides cellular coverage analysis for:

  • single-site runs
  • bulk project runs

This capability is currently:

  • beta
  • free to use inside the platform
  • not calibrated against drive-test data
  • enriched for Canada and the United States
